Over the years, my sister Elizabeth and I have often taken walks together and looked for the drive to this farm, it was completely overgrown from disuse. Recently the timber was sold, the driveway reappeared, and I could walk back there to see what remained.

I have very vague memories of visiting this place when I was a child and people still lived there. I was surprised when I walked back yesterday and the house was still standing. Everything is in disrepair now, a couple buildings have fallen in. But the memories of being barefoot with red dirt stuck to my feet still remain.
